Before computers, I use to have my writing books. In there, were major point of my life, stuff to note. I also used my books to draw. I’ve never considered my self much of an artist, but I must say I had fun doing it. Some of the drawings became batiks.

For 2 or 3 years in the 70’s, batiks were my self expression.

I’ve since started scanning in the original drawings and touched them up. This blog, will host them. I will post the originals and the touched up ones. Of course I’ve also resized them.

Today, one of my favourites, which also became a Batik.

Finally the batik. A photo of it was taken last summer, while we were cleaning up. In order for the digital shot to come, here too I had to fiddle with Fireworks and Photoshop.
